TITLE: Speech-Language Pathologist / Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

 

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

 

LOCATION: Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties

 

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly

 

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience

 

HOURS: Flexible hours; per diem.

 

START DATE: ASAP

 

JOB SUMMARY:

LASPS is a private in-home practice offering a variety of speech and language services to both the pediatric and geriatric populations. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team to help make a positive difference in individuals lives by helping them communicate better. The areas of need include: West LA, San Fernando Valley and South Bay. Position reports to the Executive Director. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct screenings and evaluations

Conduct Independent Evaluations

Write initial evaluation and progress reports

Provide speech and language treatment to clients

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master of Arts or Master of Science Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology

Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the CA SLPAB

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Professional Liability Insurance

Annual TB test

Current Pediatric and Adult CPR certification (BLS)

Excellent communication skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Multilingual, i.e., speaks another language(s) other than English

Experience with Mac and/or PC computers

 

JOB TYPE:

Contractual

SLP Salary Range: $55.00 - $66.00 Per Hour

SLPA Salary Range: $32.00 - $41.00 Per Hour
